Privacy & terms
This site has one form: the waitlist. Here is how we handle waitlist data and optional analytics, and the rules of the waitlist.

Privacy notice
- Who we are
IT Businessman, Armii Krajowej 24, 15-766 Białystok, Poland, runs this site and the waitlist, and is the controller of your personal data. For anything on this page, including a request about your data, write to contact@hokusai.ai.
- What we collect
Your email address, when you join the waitlist. Kit, which runs the list for us, also records what comes with any sign-up: your IP address, the time, the page you signed up on, and the page that sent you there.
- What it is for
One email when Hokusai opens. Nothing else. It is the only email you will get from the waitlist. We do not sell your address or use it for anything else.
- Legal basis
Your consent (GDPR, art. 6(1)(a)). You give it by submitting the form, which says what it is for; Kit records when you signed up and through which form, and that is our record of your consent. Giving your address is voluntary, but without it we cannot put you on the list.
- Who handles it
Kit (kit.com) stores the list and sends the launch email on our behalf, as our processor. Your data is stored in the United States. Kit is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and its data processing addendum includes the EU standard contractual clauses; together they cover the transfer.
- How long we keep it
Until the launch email is sent; then we delete it. Sooner if you unsubscribe or ask us to.
- Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict its use, or give it to you in a portable form. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to contact@hokusai.ai, or with the unsubscribe link in the launch email; this does not affect what we did with your data before. No decision about you is made automatically.
You can also complain to the Polish supervisory authority: Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych (PUODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, uodo.gov.pl.
- Hosting
Our pages are static files served by Amazon Web Services (CloudFront). Like any web server, it processes your IP address to deliver them; it keeps no access logs.
- Optional analytics and cookies
Only if you accept analytics, we load Google Analytics 4 to understand visits, page views and interactions with this site. It receives technical and usage information such as browser and device details, pages visited and referring pages. We do not send your waitlist email address to Analytics. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR, art. 6(1)(a)); refusing does not affect use of the site or waitlist.
Google Ireland Limited provides Analytics for us. Processing may take place outside the EEA, including in the United States. See Google’s information about data privacy and safeguards and Google’s privacy policy.
Analytics uses first-party _ga and _ga_* cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions; they last up to two years. Nothing on this site uses the Preferences or Marketing categories of the banner today.
Cookiebot, provided by Usercentrics A/S, shows the banner and records your choice. It loads before you choose, processing your IP address, browser information and page URL to deliver the banner. It stores your choice and consent ID in the necessary CookieConsent cookie (normally up to 12 months, subject to our Cookiebot configuration and browser limits) and records consent choices to document them. Before you accept Statistics, no Google Analytics code is loaded or analytics data sent. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the cookie icon in the corner of the page. Withdrawing stops Analytics from loading on later page views; it does not delete data already collected or cookies already in your browser, which expire on their own or can be removed in your browser settings. Contact us about requests concerning collected data. See Cookiebot’s privacy policy for more about its processing.
